Gwendolyn (Maria Ehrich) is absolutely devastated. Has Gideon’s (Jannis Niewöhner) confession of love only been a farce designed to play into the hands of her great adversary, the sinister Count of St. Germain (Peter Simonischek)? It almost appears this way for the young time-traveller. But then something incredible happens, turning Gwen’s conception of the world on its head once again. A breath-taking flight into the past begins for her and Gideon. Lavish balls and wild chases await the reluctant heroine, with one central question hovering over everything: can a broken heart ever be healed?
